This beauty tea is an easy way for you to get the joint, hair, skin, and nail benefits from the super ingredient MethylSulfonylMethane or MSM for short. MSM is a sulfur-rich compound that is naturally found in most of the healthy foods we eat. It is a major component of collagen which is the key building block for all connective tissues, hair, skin, nails, and joints. MSM is my favorite goto nutritional supplement when I want to see major growth in my hair. Although the science is still out MSM has been shown in two double-blind studies to increase hair length and improve hair shine/sheen. It has also shown promising results for nails including increased thickness, luster, and decreased nail breakage. Even though more definitive studies are needed, I and many others can personally attest to experiencing hair growth benefits from regular use. This is why I include it in our Hope Renewed Follicle Stimulator. I apply it both internally and externally for maximum benefit. My knees love it too!
Taking MSM internally can be a bit hard at first due do its bitter flavor. If you can, it's ideal to take it in capsule form to avoid the bitterness. But if you get the powder then you need only add it to your daily smoothie, juice, or other beverage to mask the flavor. Include a little Vitamin C or citrus juice with it to increase absorption. I made it easy for you. Here's my recipe for Beautiful Hair Tea. Drink a 8oz glass a day to begin to see the benefits. Adjust the MSM per your brand serving size. Mine is 4g max per day (although MSM is considered non-toxic with no adverse affects, we still want to use only what's necessary). I included low-glycemic agave syrup as my sweetener of choice but sub honey, Stevia, your favorite low calorie sweetener, or none at all. Enjoy & don't forget to send me pics of your great hair!
