ABOUT US

In 2012 I created InspiredBeauty as a line of natural hair care products for those that wanted greater control over their hair care and who desired natural botanical products.  InspiredBeauty was founded on the principle of holistic beauty from the inside out using ingredients from nature to promote healing and rejuvenation.  On a quest to grow my own hair back after several bouts with alopecia, I began mixing organic ingredients that would restore my hair and scalp health. InspiredBeauty was the fruition of that quest.

Since then InspiredBeauty has seen much success in helping our customers resolve their own hair issues.  We have now begun the quest to continue on our beautiful journey.  MAKEBA is the next step in our journey and we are excited to share it with you.  Just as before, we believe in using high quality natural organic ingredients designed to promote scalp health, length retention, and moisture balance – healing.  I personally formulate all of our products to ensure they meet these goals and my high healing standards.  If at any time I believe that a product does not do what we say it will, believe me, it will no longer be produced.  In other words, although we know that results may vary, we stand by the efficacy of our products.

Who is MAKEBA?

The journey to MAKEBA is inspired after the Queen of Sheba (personally named Makeba/Makeda/Bilqis) who, after receiving inspiration to pay visit to King Solomon, journeyed to Israel and brought gifts of great value.  In this same way we’ve journeyed from simply inspiring beauties (and beaus) to bringing even greater value to you in our products by incorporating ingredients from around the world.  We now have a complete line of products that can take you from prepoo to deep condition, styling and everything in between.  We’ve even added more teas, herbs, and ayurvedic healing properties to our products.

MAKEBA provides products for both hair and skin where natural ingredients are incorporated to promote overall holistic healing and results for the naturally beautiful.
