Initially I didn’t really care for this deep conditioner. I gave it another try and wrapped my head per the instructions and I let it sit for 45 minutes instead of the suggested 30 minutes and that did the trick for me. Keep in mind that my hair is extremely dry and brittle at the ends. After the 45 minutes my hair felt and looked a lot more healthier and I noticed a lot less breakage when I combed my hair. I have the shampoo, conditioner, oil and an hair spray that I really love. The spray you use for your scalp works wonders for me and stops the burning I get from lupus.

Lemme tell you something!!! I have been looking for a mask that does not dry my hair out and THIS IS IT!!! I have 3c 4a type hair and it gives me the extra moisture I am looking for after a wash. Please don’t ever take this away from my life!!!

I LOVE MAKEBA PRODUCTS... PERIOD! I'm in pre-menopause and my hair is going through so many changes, but when I started using MAKEBA... it has been truly a GODSEND. You can SEE and FEEL the care put into these products. They have helped so much with moisture and breakage for me and I am so GRATEFUL. I love that these products are HANDMADE and that the goal of the products are on a different level. People... if you haven't tried MAKEBA... try them now. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! Makeba's Deep Response Conditioner was the first Makeba product I used. I found that the more I used it, the easier my wash routines became. My hair is always super moisturized and defined when I rinse out the conditioner, and detangling is a breeze! I now alternative between using the Deep Response Conditioner and the Jamaica Rhassoul Clay Mask. As someone who has struggled to find a shampoo and conditioner that ease my detangling process as opposed to complicating it, I love both products and can't recommend them enough!
